Ausmic's Fleet

The Ausmic Pest Management Fleet is customised to provide immediate recognition of our activities, project an image of responsibility and to satisfy our own standards, the Public Health Department Licensing Legislation and the Australian Standards Code.
When designing our fleet several factors were considered - for example, life and durability of the fabrication, overall appearance, ease of maintenance, and the security of chemical and tools. Other major concerns were to ensure the accurate measurement and agitation of liquid emulsion and to design built-in safe guards against cross-contamination of chemicals. The units are simple to operate, easy to maintain and require a minimum of servicing.
The unit module including the hose reels and ladders were manufactured by a marine fabricator in Perth. To guard against the corrosive effects of the solvents used in some chemicals, the highest quality marine grade aluminium was used. Each of the domestic units have two in-built separate tanks, each with their own twin piston rega pump, with individual feed and delivery, thus ensuring against any possible cocktailing of chemicals. With the use of a retractor-hose reel fitted with non-return valves and digital flow meter, we can accurately measure the water into the tank ensuring that the correct chemical emulsion percentages are obtained, and that the exact amount of emulsion required for the job is mixed and delivered.
The motors and pumps are located in separate lockers at the rear of the module with another four lockers located to either side. Of these four lockers, the first, a wet chemical locker, has a built-in holding tray to contain any spillage which may occur. Dry chemicals such as rat baits and dusts are stored in the second, with all hand equipment, rega, dusters, etc located in the third locker. The fourth locker is for hand tools and safety equipment.
With 24 fully operational mobile pest management units manned by highly qualified and trained pest management technicians, Ausmic lead the field in effective service, responding to jobs large or small on the same day as we are contacted.
